We had just moved to DC and been looking for an apartment for 3 weeks when we found this place. We had a couple friends living here who recommended we check it out.

1. It is metro accessible. There is about a 12 minute walk to the metro. And at least 6 buses with in a block or so. H1, H2, H3, H4, and 80 pick up in front of the complex. D8 is around the corner.

The Cloisters offer a park-like escape from the bustle of downtown DC while remaining easily accessible to all that the city has to offer. The buildings and property are well maintained despite their age and management is very responsive to resident concerns. The apartment itself is great! Big rooms, very spacious, nice kitchens. Overall very nice! Management is okay and sometimes is a little slow to respond to requests. There is a gym onsite but it is pretty small. The location isn't great for night life or grabbing a bite to eat if you don't have a car, but there is free parking!
