If you're looking for a stylish yet casual place in downtown Phoenix, the Clarendon is a great choice. Having had an extreme makeover, it's now a hip hangout for young, style-conscious travelers and attracts a surprising number of celebrities. Guest rooms are done in a sort of budget contemporary that will appeal to young and artistic travelers. In the hotel's central courtyard, there's a...

This well-known club features live blues from around the country, but local bands are part of the scene as well. The bar opens Monday through Saturday at 7pm, and there's a limited bar menu, but the big attraction is the music, which starts around 10pm. This place gets too packed to move in when there is a big show.

A diverse group of fans flocks here for Atlanta's best live blues.

The Scene
A dark corner space in the typically yuppie Virginia-Highland area, Blind Willie's is Atlanta's best bet for live blues. Seven nights a week, the club is full of a diverse group...

You don't need to see to know the music is good

We went on a Saturday night for food and blues! I had the the red beans and rice .. Mmm mm mmm good! A little spicy but oh so good! The house bad is really good and Sandra Hall was such a treat. If your are in the area and don't go to Blind Willie's then you need glasses.

Overall a nice place. Could have been cleaner. Furniture could have been more comfortable. More seating in a suite. More counter space in bathroom. Pipes sticking out of wall in living room. Staff was very pleasant. Restaurant needs bigger menu.

Total Disappointment!!!

I paid for a junior suite for 2-nights and instead I was put in a room on the 2nd floor, one that I would never put my worst enemy in for free. Half the floor was tiles with NO bathtub. It was secluded with no day-light coming through because the window was blocked by high walls and a giant AC Unit system. Anyone could easily crawl from outside into the room through the window. I called the...

Great Blues Bar

Been here many times over the past 20 years and I've never been disappointed. The music is always outstanding and the service is excellent. The bar is small so it can get crowded, but it's always been worth it to hear the great live blues acts.
