The place is intimate and has great atmosphere. Reasonably priced. The Dan Dan Noodles were absolutely excellent and the Roasted Chicken Ramen was pretty good too. The house drinks are creative and flavorful. Highly recommend the oysters... super-fresh.

We ate at North last night with a party of 4, food and drinks were great! North is a small plates/sharing type of place, so the 4 of us split 7 dishes in 2 rounds of ordering. The menu changes apparently daily, but I highly recommend the DanDan Noodles or the Hidden Oysters (fried oyster rolled in a kimchi pancake),...

I can't say enough good things about North. It's easily one of the best restaurants in Providence.
The scene is perfect for those who like off-the-beaten-path, dark and cozy atmospheres. From the outside the restaurant appears to be someone's apartment, but for the neon "North" sign that gives it away. They don't take reservations, but you can put your name...

Great staff, great food. What a fun dining experience! The menu changes constantly, they don't take reservations, and it's not a big place. My advice: get there early and have a cocktail across the street at the very cool bar called Avery. When the doors at North open, pound down your drink and head on in! Delicious beet salad...amazing scallops...incredible...

We heard about this small restaurant from our real estate agent. It was a Thursday night, raining and cold, We found the place without problems although the sign in their window was small. Place is tiny but very comfortable. We ate at the bar and got terrific service from the two young women behind the bar. We enjoyed the biscuts...
