No frills, could use updating, staff could be more courteous and helpful, otherwise not too bad for the price. Location is good if you plan to visit downtown area. There is a little organic grocery store within walking distance.
This is no fancy hotel. I've stayed at much nicer Comfort Inns. Room was tiny and older looking. But rate was reasonable. I left some very expensive face wash in the bathroom but when I called to see about getting it, housekeeping told me there was nothing in the bathroom. Come on people, just be honest. Not happy!

CONS:
Tired and worn furnishings. Pets allowed so dog barking is commonplace when walking to / from the room. Very small, cramped breakfast room with low quality offerings.
When I travel through there again, I'll probably look elsewhere for lodgings.
My sister and her grandchildren stayed. We were satisfied with every aspect of the hotel (clean, comfortable, nice breakfast, etc.) However my great niece swam in the pool briefly. Maybe 30-40 mins. Her eyes got a major irritation from the chemicals. As we were checking in I observed someone dumping chlorine into the pool. No measuring, no testing of water....
