I had a door to door sales guy come over to my house and seen him in a blue GE Security polo he said his name was David and was from The Alarm Guys at first I was confused why he was at my house and was skeptic on even talking to him them he explained why he was at my house and asked if I was the owner that set up my older alarm I told him yea and he explained and showed me brochures on the newest technology for there alarms I have Bay Alarm and they been ok but they never offered me any type of upgrade like this and then when I found out it would be free I couldn't believe it so I had him come in while he looked at my alarm I went online and checked these guys out and everything looked legit so I signed up for a appointment that day and they came out 1 hour later and set up my upgrade its so amazing I really like there IPhone app to use my alarm and there new intercom alarm panel has a feature for the monitoring center to call in ober a specker phone to get a code so if I false alarm I can tell the operator it was a mistake its been working great for 5 months now and I referred them to 3 of my neighbors and I even got $100 each for that these guys are great give them a chance if they come knocking your door!! Read the fine print in the contract. It's not what they told me when they wanted me to sign up. Like automatic renewal without your approval
The Alarm guys are fraudulent. Here's our experience with them. When we signed the contract with them, they never mentioned that they would be running our credit. The contract has no mention of that either. On top of that, there's two hard inquiries showing up on our credit report which is even more egregious.
