I love The Abbey I have been there for years. We went there so much, They knew what I wanted because I got the same thing, "Butter with pasta & two things of cheese & lemon water." Are Favorite thing to get are Truffle fries,...The best!

This is a great local place with great simple but well executed sophisticated comfort food, good beers and bar selection and great owners and service. The crowd is eclectic with many regulars.

Highly recommend if you are in the "neighborhood".

We had just closed on our condo and wanted to grab a drink and some wings while we were waiting for everything to finalize. We had a nice spot outside with very friendly and efficient staff. The wings were great and the drinks were refreshing,...while everything was reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Abbey. The menu was seasonal, interesting and well executed. I’had the smoked cod fritters and the bison bolognese and both were great.

The Abbey is now open in Washington Square in Brookline. Chef Josh Sherman and bartender Damian Dowling, both formerly of the Washington Square Tavern, are teaming up with Gina Medaglia of Dalias. Serving lunch, dinner, drinks and late night food.
