I hired Ms. Thaker and Mr. Berowitz in early 2010 because I had a deportation order since 1996 after I overstayed my voluntary departure. No lawyers were able to help me. I lost my job of over 20 years because my employer got scared that I will be deported and they will be punished for hiring me. I was desperate. I went to see Ruchi and Irwin and they took their time to listen to everything that happened in my case since the 90s. They were smart and asked all the right questions to get to the bottom of the problem in my case and how to fix it. I hired them immediately to help reopen my case. Both were very honest and told me it would be extremely difficult because of certain facts of my case, but they promised to do their best job. And they delivered! I worked very closely with Ruchi to put my case together (she asks questions, calls, sends emails, makes sure all document collection is going as scheduled, works with family members if needed and things like that). They did not charge an unreasonable fee for the amount of work that needed to be done and when I saw a copy of the motion Ruchi prepared, I knew in my heart that we would win. The motion had to be joined in by the government lawyer, and I was warned that it would be hard to convince one lawyer at the DHS to agree to reopen my case. BUt Irwin and Ruchi constantly followed up with the government lawyer to see if she needed anything else, wanted to discuss the case and that sort of thing. Recently, I got the most wonderful call from Irwin, who told me that the government lawyer agreed to join in the motion to reopen my old case (even though I overstayed voluntary departure years ago). I started crying because I was so happy that I will now get a chance to get my green card and stay here with my children and grandchildren. I am going back to hire Ruchi and Irwin for the rest of my case. If I had known them much earlier, I think I would have been a citizen by now. But all good things happen for a reason and I know there was a reason these two amazing lawyers came in my life. I will never go to any other immigration lawyer!
I am a doctor, and I wanted to obtained my green card based upon my marriage to my wife. After having researched a few immigration lawyers, I found Ruchi Thaker and Irwin Berowitz. I was very impressed with them during my meeting. They took the time to ask me all the questions they needed answered before we discussed options between consular processing and adjustment of status. After our detailed meeting, we decided that adjustment of status was the best option for me. I discussed with my wife (who wasn't with me during my consultation) and we decided to hire Ms. Thaker and Mr. Berowitz. From the moment they started working on my case, they constantly communicated with me and my wife. I got email updates regularly, and any time I called, one of them answered the phone (which is something I really liked, because instead of having to talk to secretaries or paralegals like at other firms, you get to talk to a lawyer here right away!) and answered my questions. Ruchi prepared us for our interview and even came with us to the interview, which made us feel very comfortable. We passed the interview and I got my green card recently! As a doctor, I understand what people expect when they hire a professional to work on their matter. I highly recommend Ruchi and Irwin for anyone needing help with simple or complicated immigration matters. They take their time to ask the right questions before giving answer. They don't just tell you what you want to hear, but they tell you what you need to hear. That's the kind of lawyer I would want.

All I can say that when I didn't have any hope, Mr. Berowtiz & Ms. Thaker were there for me. I remember the day before my brother's hearing I google and got The Thaker Berowtiz number. They have been really supportive from the day I went to meet them to discuss about my brother's case up until today. My brother's case had absolutely no hope, it was almost a dead case. I just took a chance, and figured maybe we should fight it till the end, and thank God that I found the number of this law firm. It's a miracle that everything is ok today, and my brother is still in the USA, and I just cannot thank them enough. After that case, I felt as if they were my support sent from THE ONE ABOVE. Very disappointed, I have to disagree with some of the patients that gave this doctor 5 or 4 stars. Waited over 3 months for nothing! I dont understand was I the patient or the student that interview me? He reminds me of a mechanic that keeps changing parts , a good mechanic or in this case a good doctor , makes the diagnostic for the problem, not just changing more parts. I am in terrible...
