In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just...

Every night is the weekend at this bistro, where families enjoy American kitsch and cuisine alongside partying singles.

In Short
The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant...

Me and my fiancée (now wife) had our small wedding reception at the restaurant. Our server Jazmine was super friendly, and accommodating to all of our requests! I know it was not easy because of the size of our party and the fact that most of the guests showed up at different times, not to mention that there were more people than expected. This location is concept store, so unlike any other Friday's you might have been to. The food is overall good and service is above average. We go often and it's never been a bad experience. On some weekend nights they have a DJ. Definitely the late night scene in Corpus. Open late and serves food late in the evening.

Above average for a Fridays. Even with the water ban Corpus was having, they worked very hard to accommodate. It would have been even better if soft drinks had at least one free refill, considering only cans were being offered. Bottled water was free, which was good. Last time we had water boil issue they used 2 liter bottles for soda, with free refills.

What to Drink

With 18-ounce glasses, you might only order one. Friday's is known for its comprehensive drink menu, so try something a little unusual, like the June Bug--made from Midori, coconut rum, banana liqueur and pineapple juice.
