Not the most thorough of computer techs

I took my computer in - not sure why it wasn't working. The owner did not do any diagnostics at all. Assumed that I had been slammed with a virus so he started to restore the computer which was going to take quite a while because it was a Dell. In the middle of it, the harddrive crashed. It ended up costing me $700+ to get my computer restored. I got ripped off because he didn't go about it methodically.
