Help us make it rightI have been using Aaron as my taxidermist for a while now and I am extremely pleased. I have at lest five friends that have started using him after seeing the work he has done for me. The detail he puts in to your trophy is well worth the wait. Top notch!!
It has been 13 months. Long but not unheard of in taxidermy. I started calling him, JUST FOR A STATUS, in October. It is now almost February. I still never got a call back. Last week, I received a random text, not even telling me who he was, that my deer would be ready the next day. He first told me that he holds hours of 10-6, then he was never there when I was going to come. Luckily I texted him to find out. I finally arranged to pick it up, and he still wasn't there. His assistant had to give me the deer. The printer didn't even work for a receipt. Aaron may do acceptable (not incredible) taxidermy, but he as no idea of what professionalism is or how to run a business. Pretty sad...
Over the past 5 years we've taken a total of 44 animals to TWLT and have not been dissapointed with a single one. From full mount whitetail to Buffalo to fish, they've all been top notch. If you're worried about time you're not worried about quality and quality is what you get with this guy. He currently has a fox of ours and I guess he's had it for 6 or 7 months, but he'll make sure it's exactly what I want or he won't release it. The hides have to be perfect, and the detail he puts into their faces and muscles don't come with the forms, he does that all himself. Wouldn't trust my stuff to anyone else. I know after 50 years, my stuff will still look great!
Aaron has done Mule Deer, Whitetail and Boar shoulder mounts for me, and they have all been top quality and delivered on time. He'll continue to get work from me in the future.
I have been trying to get ahold of this guy for 2 months. He is slippery. Will NOT return calls or answer the phone. Hides behind his phonemail. I left an Elk head last year and have yet to hear from him. Lot...
I had a bird done in 2006 and it looked good so I sent a friend in with a bobcat and he would never return his phone calls and so-forth when he finaly got it back a 1 1/2 years later the workmanship was not...
