If you tell me that students have 12 weeks to learn: All muscles, their function, where they originate and insert, all bones, the integumentery system, the endocrine system, physiology of the human body, pathology, contraindications for massage, several modalities, case studies, ethics, AND provide 50 clinic hours, and all that with classes that have 15 people or more per one instructor, it is obvious that there is no way a quality education can be provided, no matter what kind of numbers you provide. I went to this school and busted my rear end to get through their program. I worked hard and got the encouragement I needed to hang in there and conitnue, plus encouragement when I failed the first time the licensure board test to take it again and I passed the second time with a very good score. Granted since then my license lapsed but I did make good money on my own with massage therapy. I received a phone call today from a client that was leary about coming to the school to receive a massage because of a ""bad review"". I had no idea what was posted. So, in defense of the program that I have put my heart and soul into, here is what I have to say. I wrote the program and the certification classes, I pick out the books, I write the tests, I am THE one responsible for the education and the instruction.
