Do not make any purchases when the business uses Telecheck Services, Inc to approve your check.  They seem to be randomly identifying checks as as a failed transaction and then either reporting to credit bureaus or getting more info from you and then charging you for that "failed" transaction.  I used Telecheck for an Amazon purchase for the FIRST time, thinking it was like using PayPal - my...

TeleCheck Services sent a letter to me claiming there was a failed transaction with a check at Walmart.  A place I never attended.  I never use a check either.  They have a Houston Texas address but also a PO BOX where they want you to send them money at PO BOX 60012, City of Industry, CA 91716-0022 Theyy are trying to get people to send them money.  This needs to be looked into.

I paid for a purchase with PayPal.  A couple of days later I got two letters from this Telecheck outfit claiming that my paper check could not be properly read.  For their service to correct this difficulty I was to pay them $2.97!  The very next day I got a harrassing telephone call from a debt collector insisting that I immediately pay up.

First and foremost every American consumer should know that Telecheck Outsources their services to India! Holding someone accountable for criminal behavior is nearly impossible due to that.
