Yes, the place is pretty cool and it feels a little bit like stepping back in time. Unfortunately I didn't think there was anything special about the ice cream. Yes, there are lots of flavors to choice from and as a family we tried several but there wasn't a single flavor that stood out

Taylor's is an icon of Chester and still has hand scooped and tastes so wonderful in the heat of the summer or the sprinkling of the white snow! Don't forget the hot fudge!

Been told by family members that my two best friends are named "Ben & Jerry" (Cherry Garcia is my favorite), but have to confess that Taylor's ranks right up there with Tirico Ice Cream in Jersey City and Thomas Sweets in Princeton - handmade and very creamy with lots of flavors (40). Taylor's Ice Cream Parlor has delicious homemade ice cream. The flavors are very unique and delicious. I would definitely stop in for ice cream if you are in town.
