What the community has to say about Tasca

Information about this business (2)

Romantic & charming spot for tapas, traditional Spanish entrees, sangria & flamenco shows.

The live Spanish guitar performances, held at Tasca Tapas set this out-of-the-way and incredibly romantic restaurant as an ideal location for tapas. Young diners enjoy diverse and inexpensive tapas, from marinated olives to a three ounce filet mignon. The menu often changes but the dishes are always flavorsome. Their sangria and wine list is also quite notable.

Tasca Restaurant Review

A mural of some twinklingly lit Mediterranean village greets you as you walk into the intimate foyer and bar area; in the dining room, burning candles surround you. And for the most part, the food lives up to the romantic promise of the décor. The team of Irishmen---that's right, Irishmen---who run the place worked for years on the Spanish Riviera (hence, the wall art). The menu, which changes...

Tasca is right around the corner from me and I am a frequent visitor. I love going with a few people, 2 or 3, and ordering a variety of different tapas. I say 2 or 3 people, because if there were more I definetly would not be able to have seconds of my favorite tapas! Now I do have to say the Sangria here is a little fruity than in Spain but much much much better than most places in Boston that...

Tasca is easy to get to - the restaurant is located right off the B line on your way to Boston College. It has a good selection of tapas but the price is a little too high for what you are getting. A dark interior and live guitar music makes it a great date spot, but if you're looking for a casual dinner I would search elsewhere.

Tasca might be one of my favorite restaurants now. I loved the atmosphere, the location, the service, the food, and the price; I loved everything! Everything was exceptional, and almost perfect. It was a lovely dinner with good company and good food. What more can I ask for?

Delightful Bargain Tapas. Like the other reviewers have said, the sangria here is fantastic, generous and about 50% cheaper than equivalents in the rest of the city. I was also very charmed by the intimate bar area which was quiet and allowed for easy conversation. On the night of our visit there were several large birthday parties, so the tightly packed dining room was a bit overheated and noisy.

For the past 3 years I have been harboring a serious obsession with Tasca. Living in the food obsessed world that I do, I thought everyone knew about the adorably traditional Spanish hole-in-the wall that serves up only the most delicious tapas for the most ridiculously inexpensive prices, but I still find myself running into people who haven't heard of it yet. So I'm here now to officially...

"This has to be one of the most charming and romantic restaurants in Boston. You have to try the braised beef shortribs and sizzling shrimp and the great sangria.....""Have been going to Tasca for tapas for the past five years and over the course of time the place just seems to get better and better.....""Have been going to Tasca for tapas for the past five years and over the course of time the...

This Brighton area restaurant offers Spanish cuisine in a smart and stylish atmosphere. The tapas are just as exciting as the decor and include goodies such as chicken croquettes, Pulpo a la Vinagreta (baby Octopus in red wine vinaigrette), and Tostados de Verduras (roasted Mediterranean vegetables with garlic crostinis). The menu also affords diners a wide selection of entrees and desserts. A...

Tasca is a cozy tapas bar with faux-stucco walls and sangria by the pitcher. Small plates include marinated olives, garlicky shrimp, and empanadas filled with goat cheese and spinach; p`lla comes with vegetables, seafood, or poultry. One afternoon perk: free appetizers at the bar. This restaurant dishes up Spanish where patrons tend to favor tapas. Expect the average entrée to cost between $12...
