Those days are gone. Understandable since beef went up but I saw the whole menu went up by 100% markup. $1 burger now $2 and a burger platter was $4.25 came with soup, salad, and bacon cheeseburger … Those days are gone. Established in the late 70s has maintained many of the food prices from that era including their famous $1 hamburgers. Tara's is the local dive bar with fantastic food. The decor isn't much to experience, the menu is written on paper plates and stuck to the walls and the customers are packed in pretty tight on the weekends.  "Stimulus pricing" has been in effect for years with $1 burgers, $1 roast beef, cheap beers and $10 lobster dinners.
