This family owned farm is a wonderful place to learn about horses and how to ride. The owner Mrs. Stanton is an amazing lady. She is sweet and kind and is excellent with both beginner and advanced riders. She is able to enhace the learning experience of her students through her vast background and life experiences with horses. All the horses are treated as family. Although it is a business, she never lets her horses get treated like a commodity. She teaches her riders how to listen to the horse because she beleives that the horse can teach the rider as well as the instructor, if the rider is tuned into the horse. The facility has everything you could want. A large lit indoor arena, outdoor arena and beautiful trails. A lot of the riding equipment is old and the school horses are groomed for health, not for show so the school tack room and horses may not be as showy as other barns, but the instructional quality is top notch. Although equipment may be old, a horse is always properly fit to the tack it wears. We love this place and highly recommend it to others!
