Talquin Electric is so dumb. I tried to pay them the full amount on back bills and they would not take the money. They referred me to collections. Collections wanted so much extra, that I have gone completely off the grid for cheaper. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. Morons in charge everywhere. New Meter Doubles Bill

I don't understand why the new meter has doubled my bill. I called their office to get an explanation and the woman said she didn't really understand either and I would have to talk with the billing person. The billing person says something about you are paying ahead now so the bill won't be doubled all the time - it hasnt stopped. She also said oh you must be running your heating system...

My last few months of bills have been exceedingly high yet nothing has changed in my home. No one on City of Tallahassee that I have spoken to has had such a large increase yet everyone on Talquin has. My bills doubled. I dont get it.

Utilities from New Meters Steadily Climping and Waxing Worth

The new meters has definitely caused an increase in the utility bill. Trying to conserve energy each month has given us a sense of hopelessness. Each monthly bill continually goes up and is excelerating out of control. There are only two people in our home. October bill was $172.53 and November bill is $292.70. We will also pay $120.00 to the City of Tallahassee.

I don't see any problems with the meters that we have and the problem with us having to read them for ourselves. if it isn't broke whay try and fix it. I too have notice a rise in my bill. as for the new meters I don't recall anyone asking me what I thought on this especially if we are suppose to be members of talquin and not just customers. Give us a break.
