The motif is reproduction Old World and can lean heavily toward the floral, but all rooms have spa tubs and marble bathrooms. Evening aperitifs are served in the English garden courtyard, where a fire blazes on chilly nights.
Beautiful rooms with view of the Pacific from your own deck. Staff couldn't be more kind and accommodating. Our room was huge with a fabulous bathroom. Price includes a full hot breakfast and parking. Location is great as well. Just walk outside and explore charming Carmel.

Left my heart at the Tally Ho in Carmel, CA. Have stayed here at least 6 times and cannot quit thinking about it right now. It is perfect, staff is fantastic. We probably had the lowest category of room - queen bed with no ocean view balcony - but it was more than adequate for our one night stay. The location can't be beat, and the breakfast buffet across the road was outstanding. The staff was helpful and friendly. We would not hesitate to stay again.
We had a king room with an ocean view deck. Room was beautiful. Staff was very nice. There was a fairly steep stairway to our room and no bell service to help with luggage. Something to keep in mind when choosing a room. We also had some very early street noise but then again it was garbage pick up day...
