We ordered take-out and the food was ready 5-10 minutes after the stated "ready" time online. However, both the enchiladas and the steak burrito were hot and tasty. I lived in Mexico for a time and the flavors brought me back! I will definitely return...and would recommend this restaurant!

I ordered a burrito specifically vegetarian, confidently bit into it, and accidentally had meat for the first time in many years. Highly unacceptable really! And my coworker hated her tacos as a side note :/

Good food, if you have the time for it

We went at lunch time, and they were busy, so it is understanding that service was a little slow. It took us over and hour and a forty minutes to get drinks and basic entrees. The food was good, but just make sure you have...the time to spare.

The mexican food experience is totally tasty and authentic (I am typically the only gringo in the place even when it is packed with 200 mexican american multi-generation families and couples). The servers and bartenders are super friendly and the choice of mexican beer and...drinks is good. Plus El Tejeban serves authentic dark and rich mole enchaladas -- which are nearly impossible to find...
