World class Mexican food in the heart of Woodstock - right across from the village green on Route 212. Also features Jane's delicious homemade ice cream.
The laid-back storefront eatery began as a humble stand behind the infamous Espresso Café. You can help yourself to utensils and sort your dirty dishes when you're finished, and a rogues' gallery of Woodstock characters lines one wall. Nothing beats the enormous wet-tofu burrito; a scoop of Jane's homemade ice cream is the perfect chaser. Park benches outside provide front-row seats for...
We had a late lunch here. The menu was large and the food was great. They even had tofu chili. We had three big meals for $27.00 including drinks. The person preparing our food was very helpful. The eating area is small and the bathroom situation is interesting but all in all it was a great meal at a really...
Go for the ice cream! Sit outside on a bench and watch the people and their beautiful dogs walk by! There is a big bowl of water for the pooches! Brightly painted exterior....you can't miss it! Fun place to have a break from touring around Woodstock! Ice cream was so so good!!!!
I sometimes wish upstate new york business owners would just travel a little, eat a little more and let those experiences influence their food. I have only come in here over the years for the ice cream or ice coffee but it is always excellent. There is no or very little a/c so this is a good place for cooler weather or just stopping in for ice cream (home made is the best!!) to take out
We discovered that this cute storefront that advertises tacos is actually the place to stop for ice cream in town. They sell both a Haagen-Dazs line of ice creams as well as a homemade line. The Coconut Almond Joy homemade ice cream was delicious and is highly recommended! Note: This place takes cash only.
Taco Juan's Restaurant is located at 31 Tinker St in Woodstock and has been in the business of Retail - Fast-food Restaurant, Chain since 1997.
