I'm currently a PCS Handset Technician, and fix PCS phones all day, everyday. I can assure you, the LCD didn't just "break". Was it cracked? What exactly happened with it? I'd assume it was physical damage, and at that point, the warranty is VOID! At that point, they do NOT have to replace your handset. If you think that ATT or Sprint will be better....you'll be in for a rude awakening. Verizon has a very "blame the customer" orientation for any problem that arises with their phones. T-Mobile isn't perfect, but in my experience it's the least evil of the cell carrier giants.

Bought a Brand New Samsung phone from tmobile, with a new upgraded family plan. Screen broke 2nd day I got it, brought it back to tmobile days later and was told that even though it was within the warranty time, this warranty did not cover type of damage.
