We were there with a group of about a 12-14 last year. The food was great, quite an exstensive variety of baked goods. The breakfast sandwiches were very good and the service tremendous, despite us dropping in without a reservation.

We live in Boston, but next time we are back we will be there.

Sweetness is most definitely worth the drive - no matter where you are in Portland. A wide variety of sweet baked goods always delight my eyes there, but the savory treats have me hooked! There is a different assortment every day, but if you happen to catch the Eggs Benedict sandwich on fresh-baked challah bread (just $3.50!) you will be a very, very happy diner.

I've yet to try any item that fell short of delicious, however, and the ingredients are consistently and remarkably fresh. And the prices are unbelievably reasonable! I would honestly go there every day if I could.
