Help us make it rightHands down the worst food and service I have ever had in Durango. Maybe it was a bad night for everyone but as a local, I was very disappointed. Rubber band in the crab legs, raw fish, waiting for over 20 minutes for drink refills. And I would love to say that on this night it was really busy, but fact is, it was not. You may not know but very recently Sweeney's has been placed under new management and now has a "new and Improved" menu. If Sweeney's has been a long time favorite or if you are looking to rediscover, give the new menu a look. They still have the old favorites, but with new flare and style. Worth the drive!
Great service and an "at home" comforting feeling. Food portions are huge so come here prepared for a feast. Flavors and spices are not too wild but very consistant. Not my idea of the "big fancy dinner date" spot but a nice place to go out with the family. I would recommend the triple stacked carrot cake -that easily serves a party of three.
