Old Hotel .great location..Friendly staff .... Excellent happy Hr !
We stayed in room 12 in the hotel which is located above the restaurant. The room was small but nice with a refrigerator. Bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. ice maker is located outside in the back of the hotel(minor issue) .Biggest issue was noise from the entertainment...

It was late in the season and the hotel seemed to be shutting down. The room was clean and the hot water worked Avoid the buffet. It was heavy on Pasta items. The premium meat was sliced Roast beef. No Chicken. The seafood item was Salmon Crochets. At twenty-five dollars it was over priced. OKAY if you are a Pasta...

I guess for the price I shouldn't complain. But be ware you get what you pay for. The room was musty and stuffy with a non working ac. The TV had issues as well. Not updated and the mini blinds let in a lot of light. We had asked for an accessible room which they don't have and should've stayed...

Located in the center of Surf City. Ocean Block Hotel. Clos walk to restaurant and shops. Restaurant on premises with the Clam Bar. Very clean and moderate price Hotel. My family stays several weekends a year when our Beach house is rented. During summer bar has live bands, Stay in either the INN or COTTAGE, Not the Hotel.

Drinks took forever, food took forever, and then the order was wrong!!! Yelled at by the waitress when we said order was wrong and food was cold. She told us we were lucky we even got our food so soon and seemed to blame us for coming in when they were short on staff due to kids returning to college....
