I wish I could afford to shop at the Stop & Shop in Wallingford, but I'm not a millionaire! The prices on most things are very high!

I go in with my own bags (S&S Freezer Green), get my own scanning gun. Bag my groceries the way I want them to be bagged without using those awful plastic bags, and go through one of the many self scan lines, since I have the scanner gun. it's like having one item. No waiting in any lines. How can you beat that?

Shopping at my local Wallingford has become most un-enjoyable. The check outs take twice as long after they implemented a new computer system a month ago. Coupons take so long to put in now and many times they don't work even though I have purchased the item. Then they need to get a supervisor and put many in manually.
