The room was great. The breakfast was awful. 1. Obsolete microwave from the 70's or 80's. 2. microwave knobs were gone 3. the orange juice was horrible 4. frozen waffles, hard butter, and cereal 5. no fruit

Expedia hijacked my Super 8 registration

I was on the Super 8 web site and was routed the Expedia Phone line. I never knew it until I got an email confirmation from Expedia. When I checked in, the owner of the Motel told me it cost me an extra $30 per room (I needed 2 rooms) thru Expedia. Motel was good. Expedia is not.

I booked a smoking room at this hotel. When I arrived they did not honor my reservation for a smoking room. They stated they did not have any more single rooms with smoking. they did have a suit for $30.00 a night more. I asked them if there were other Super 8 motels in the area and if they could check to see if there were any smoking rooms. They handed me a pen and said call the 1-800 number...

It is true you get what you pay for but that isnt always a bad thing. I would recommend this hotel to a friend. It is simple and clean. The refrigerator in the room didnt work, but I wasnt expecting a refrigerator. The breakfast is limited but it is good food. It is an easy drive to Grand Island. I would stay again.
