On a positive note, we ended up needing a roll away bed added to our room, and the staff not only suggested it, but had it to our room within minutes. They seemed very helpful. On the other side, the facilities themselves are getting old, and the rooms show it. There is a musty, smokey smell in all of the rooms. One in our party had to change rooms due to a mildew smell. Standard Super8; fairly low-cost but nothing special. Free internet was appreciated and was fast enough. My main issue was that I had reserved a nonsmoking room and I was placed in a smoking room...it stank, there were ashtrays sitting around, and my clothes reeked later. But, from what I heard, I got the best of the three available Creston hotel/motels.
Two buildings: one for smokers and one for non-smokers, but staff in only one building. It was really inconvenient to have to go back and forth up the hill. Narrow halls and thin walls.
