Motel was clean but no microwave or fridge, and even if you get a smoking room you still have to smoke outside, its not a crime yo smoke!!you can't even control the heat in your own room so you just have yo deal with what the owner finds suitable for herself!! Hands down this is the best value in town and the lowest price hotel in town. It has clean rooms, internet access and t.v. Within walking distance to several places to eat. Kandy is a straight shooter ! I will stay here again.

Owner runs a tight ship

Motel is dated but very clean. Owner was very adamant about no smoking (even though we made it clear we don't smoke). She was very frank and let it be known she would not put up with any riff raff. Our room was right by the road. There was some traffic noise but not intolerable.

Clean, clean, clean. I stay in motels and hotels all summer for my work. The Sunset is not modern, not a boutique, doesn't have a fitness center or free breakfast. I politely asked this horrible woman about charging me $11 for my baby and she said, "I'm not paying for your baby - you don't want to , why should I?" She was horrible and rude and I hope she goes out of business. She must be a miserably unhappy person. this site doesnt' even deserve one star.
