nice people, consistent quality but nothing exciting. Fish quality is ok, but this is actually the norm in the bay area. Sushi in the bay area, unfortunately, is too common and thus not high end yet pricing of course is.

What a fun place to bring the whole family. Great sushi and tempera dishes and lots to chose from. Nice Sake selection and very friendly staff!

The walnut avocado rolls and the virgin rainbow rolls were perffect for us vegetarians. I like my tempura batter lighter but my mother loved the tempura . The restaurant is wheelchair friendly and has a large number of ceramic kitties!

Quite nice Japanese restaurant

Went with my father. He had chicken fried rice, I had a Bento box with shrimp tempura. There could have been one more shrimp. The tempura was crispy and tasty. The service was acceptable, given all the tables were occupied. Even got a scoop of complementary ice cream at the end. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable.

Located one block off Main street. They no longer have State street blocked off for children's playground, as happened in the past. We drive north on Foothill expressway, make a right turn at the light onto Main, and an immediately left onto the street fronting the expressway, and a right turn into the first parking lot.

Located in downtown Los Altos, Sumo Japanese Restaurant serves fresh Japanese cuisine to the community, including specialty rolls, teriyaki, nigiri, and curry dishes. The restaurant is clean with a nice atmosphere and friendly service. It is kid and group friendly.
