The food is good and and the environment is cozy but be aware of your bill. This is my first and probably also my last visit (Feb 2010). The experience is like going into a tourist trap. 2 out of 3 items ordered were charged 20% and 100% more than the listed price on their menu. The worst part is their staff said you can pay 30% less tips if you don't like the service! No apology at all.

The best in NJ. Classic Japanese sushi reataurant for well over 20 years. Wonderful slection and presentation of sushi and sashimi. Good selection of prepared Japanese appetizers and entrees for non-sushi eaters. Even simple miso soup and shumai stand out from the rest. Two tatami rooms in back are good for groups. Very friendly service, too. BYOB - the newsstand next door has a wide sake...
