Needed to grab a quick lunch for everyone while headed home on our last leg of vacation travel. I pulled out the GPS and scanned the food section and spotted Subway. They are using a chemical in their bread that is something used in yoga mats. I saw that on Facebook. Hoping they will discontinue that.

Compared to other fast food options, Subway offers healthier fare, such as sandwiches and soups. The meals are well-priced, such as the $5 footlong subs and meal deals. They cookies are less healthy, but very good, too.

I have never understood why people like Subway. I use it as a last resort while on the road, since you always know what you will get. Unless you order double meat, you might as well order a veggie.
