Help us make it rightOn three separate occasions I received collection calls from RPW who claimed to be Verizon Collections Dept.I Immediately informed them that I have a Lawyer on retainer and filed bankruptcy they continued to call demanding payment and I am still waiting on the collection letter I demanded from the first phone call a month ago.
Once you file a Bankruptcy the courts impose an automatic stay. This in effect restricts any creditor from attempting to collect a debt.
