What the community has to say about SubSeattle Tour

Information about this business (2)

Underground Tour, Seattle's most unusual attraction, is a humorous walking tour of the buried city.

A rollicking, 90-minute bus ride through Seattle neighborhoods, showing off the places our rule-breakers and troublemakers called home.

You'll see the Lake Washington beaches and the house where Nirvana's Kurt Cobain lived (and died), trace Seattle's gay Pride parade route, hear the history of the International District, learn about the jazz greats who rubbed elbows in Seattle, and much more.

Business description (5)

Since 2010, Sub Seattle Tour has been providing Tours, Conducted from Seattle.

SubSeattle Tour is a rollicking, scenic bus ride through out-of-sight city neighborhoods, with lots of irreverent humor, sightings and stories of Seattle's subcultures. See the “real” Seattle most visitors don’t even hear about.

This nightclub offers live music on Friday and Saturday night and it opens at 8pm with bands playing from 9pm to 1am. It serves tapas-style food and is located in the historic Pioneer Square district.

The scene: By day we are a cafe for the Underground Tour. By night we offer an intimate lounge located at the entrance to Seattle's historic district. Candles line the room while local art hangs from the walls. On Friday and Saturday nights we offer the best prefunk in Seattle. Live DJ's help set the tone as do our amazing drink specials, good food, FREE cover and FREE pool tables. Seattle's...

A subculture safari.

Tips about this business (3)

The Extras: Several tour attendees over the years have gotten strange feelings on this tour of old Seattle. One of the most prominently spooky spots is the area called "The Vault." Several people claim to have seen the shadowy figure of a male bank guard there.

When To Go: Happy hour runs daily from 3pm to 8pm, and includes $2 drafts, $2 well drinks and half price appetizers.

Know Before You Go: Expect stairs and uneven surfaces--dress your feet appropriately.\nAlso, avoid hordes of tourists by skipping the mid-day tours.
