Now a bar and restaurant this smoke stained building still makes a decent breakfast

Good breakfast was served from my childhood regular restaurant that now is aged and smoke stained. The food was good but the place is a real strange hodgepodge of patriotic and barroom decor.

I Miss the Good Ole Days. I went to Stringtown more than a few times many years ago and remember the farmers and business men sitting around in a slightly smokey room eating some of the best fried chicken or biscuits and gravy around (though my Mom's and Grandma's was better). That's all gone and the latest version leaves a lot to be desired.

Had lunch and a beer with a friend here. Food was good, beer was normal, I'd go back. Nothing special though.
