The Stoneham Public Library has played an important role in the Marrocco/Merlino (and now Meehan) families for many years. We thank the wonderful staff for their hard work! May you all enjoy a very happy & healthy holiday season. My resolve in 2015 is to get back there.

Located at the intersection of Main and Maple Streets, the Stoneham Public Library was established in 1904. Built with the Renaissance style of architecture, it has been serving the neighborhood community ever since its inception. Regular events and programs are conducted by the library to keep their readers and members active.

The Stoneham Public Library is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The library offers various programs and activities for visitors to enjoy, while also providing ample books, magazines and other reading materials. The library, which also has computers and wireless Internet for visitors to use, is located along Main Street and parking is available on-site.
