The Stone House Cafe Restaurant Review

Chef-owner Paul Abowd has a long and storied past in Reno's restaurant scene and still cooks nightly at this café, open since 2005. The interior is a modern take on a traditional house, and there is a lovely, intimate bar, but the real action is on the garden patio where tables are nestled among trees and flowers, protected from the (admittedly noisy) street by a stone wall. Great menu in Reno

Average Rating

We didn't want to sit near the entrance where we were first offered a table, but managed to get a quieter booth near the back of the restaurant. We didn't get any of the specials which I suspect would have been really good but chose the sand dabs to share. They were fine. The French onion soup was really good and the garlic (?)...

Gotta try

This was the best restaurant we went to. The Bennedicts were to die for. Try the lobster. Pet friendly on the patio. And very nice atmosphere.
