You know how to take a reservation but do you know how to hold a reservation??? Made a reservation for two dinner at 7pm and had to call back since we would not make it and come to find out they never took the reservation. Guess this was confirmation that we made the right choice by canceling our non existent reservation!!!

As the Suncoast Beach Trolley neared St. Pete Beach I could definitely feel a chill coming on, and suddenly there it was: Steam and Chill Food Haven and Lounge. Our dear friends, Sweet Polly and her Underdog hubby, had suggested that our lives would forever be incomplete if we didn't Chill with them, so the Belle and I did just that last evening.

I would definitely visit Chill again. Taking a look at the lunch menu, I am eager to try out a few items, especially the Roasted Spaghetti Squash, Quinoa Stuffed Butternut Squash, and the Veggie Tacos. Our first plates were the Hot stuffed olives, Stuffed dates wrapped in proscuitto, and the warmed Brie with mushrooms, shallots and brandy flambe with bread for dipping. Now bear in mind, you are ordering small plates to share...there is no rhyme or reason to a set progression of courses, you are served your tapas when it is ready.

Breakfast for two adults and two children (no child's menu), was $80. And that's without alcoholic drinks. That's nuts for eggs. Down the street you can get the same thing for under $5 per person.
