We arrived for lunch not even at prime lunch time and they were busy but not packed. I first noted the manager behind the counter sweating profusely his shirt soaking wet with sweat that was disgusting enough. If you know you sweat like this bring three shirts to work with you and wear a sweat band for Petes sake! Then...

Terrible service at night

Been here a few times it's usually ok tonight was terrible, about 5 seated tables in the restaurant we were seated in a timely manor but 10 minutes since then I am writing this review, we have yet to have been seen by a waiter. People have come in behind us and have their drinks already. Close to walking out....

We like Steak 'n Shake in general, and this was pretty average for the chain, so it gets a "4." The service was quick, and the food was what one comes to expect. We live closer to a Culver's, so Steak 's Shake is a bi of a treat. Of the two we like Culver's burgers a bit better, but...

Limited area of service in middle America. Hamburger are famous; real chopped steak. A special treat. No alcohol, but try an orange freeze: mmmmm.
