I ordered a double cheeseburger with a cup of chili and fries.....asked them to dump them together and .......I got a tasty burger you can eat with a fork. I will certainly be back for one. The server was kinda excited about "something different" and was very accomodating.

A male had sat my kids and I at a table that had clearly just had a major spill from previous patrons. The restaurant was very packed and standing room only. We couldn't sit because all of the chairs were soaked. The floor had puddles everywhere under the table. The kids' menus and crayons were dropped on the floor but...

We don't have these in Va, so every time I go back to IL I have to go to steak and shake atleast once, the milkshakes are to die for and the meals are really good and not that expensive beats mcdonalds any day

I walked in the front door and sat at the counter. Wanted to place an order to go. It took 9 minutes for someone to come over and ask what I wanted.

The chili is great! We eat here at least 3 times a month. A great step above your normal fast food. Great service. You have to try a hand dipped shake!
