This is a government building that is not open for tours. Take a picture of the outside, the inside is not worth your time.

The building is old but unique in its design. It could use some updating. Be mindful of you time on the meter, the meter maids are notorious.

There’s no doubt the Wainwright Building is important; I just didn’t get much enjoyment from visiting it. For one, the building is a functional government office, so there aren’t any tours of its interior available. I didn’t try going in the building, but I got the impression tourists aren’t really welcome inside.
