Help us make it rightKick up some Route 66 nostalgia at this old-fashioned soda fountain, bar, and kitschy gift shop built in 1926. Dine on burgers and hot dogs, a famous Twisters sundae (topped with raspberry sauce, nuts, and hot fudge), Route 66 beer float, or cherry phosphate—all to the sounds of '50s tunes. The kids' menu features cartoon characters and a selection of corn dogs, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken...
In Short
For many, getting their daily jolt of java has become a daily morning ritual, and the cardboard cup with its infamous green label is the close companion of every coffee...
the decorations and atmosphere overshadowed the average meal. The Route 66 diner across the street was much better. Good food at a fair price. Twisters all hype.
We stopped here for lunch on our way to the Grand Canyon and we had a nice lunch in a neat atmosphere. We just had burgers, fries and soda and it was good.
we ordered 1 burger with a side of coleslaw, 1 chicken strips with a side of coleslaw and half rack bbq pork ribs with fries and salad.
the burger and chicken came about 30 minutes after ordering but no coleslaw. Chef was having to make a fresh batch.....
No silverware was brought with these two meals either.
The ribs arrived...
