I had taken my son to the Music Conservatory in downtown St Paul. I couldn't really afford the lessons, time or parking. A friend told me of St Joe's School. His first teacher was a bit lack luster but the teacher he moved to is absolutely inspiring, talented and knowledgeable. The lessons are affordable and it's in my neck of the woods.

I have read all the (1) reviews and they seem to be unrelated to the fact that the teachers in the schools need to step it up a notch. The reason i gave them 3 stars was because when I worked with St. Joseph School of Music, I felt that they could do much better than they were applying to me. The four and a half stars grabbed my attention, and when I went to check it out, I felt no connection with me and the teacher. I would recommend it if you didn't want to pay a lot for a music instructor.

Each teacher is equipped with years of experience in their field, bringing life and energy to students' music. More importantly, St. Joseph's faculty bring a love of music to their students. Laughter and true enjoyment of music accompany intense lessons in which teachers challenge their students to higher levels of accomplishment. I encourage anyone looking for a music school to explore the many-faceted possibilities of St. Joseph's School of Music.
