Information about this business (2)

A Traditional Irish Pub with Friendly staff, mostly of Irish men and women, add to the atmosphere. Old wooden tables, and large corner tables, and reclaimed iron beams and old drug store signs create a true "old feel". It draws an crowd of locals, hospital staff, museum employees, and MassArt, Wentworth and Northeastern students. Entertainment can include singers with happy hour songs.

Editorial reviews from the web (2)

"Stellar bartenders" pull from an "extensive", "well-priced" list of rotating taps and dole out "classic comfort food" at this "cozy" MFA gastropub that "fills up quickly" with a "friendly" university crowd; add in live music on weekend nights and devotees ask "what's not to love?"

Laid-back locals and college kids flock to this quaint Irish bar that serves up comfort food with flare.

In Short
Tiny white lights strung from exposed iron beams cast a glow onto the well-worn pine tables and end-to-end bar at The Squealing Pig. A dozen taps flow with Irish and English...

Varied selection of local beers. The Lobster Roll was pretty boring, would suggest something else. It is a better bar than restaurant.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. This is a dangerous game of pros & cons but I'll do my best.

Great soup and salad. Cool decor-old "pubby". Pleasant waiter. Great beer list! So many on tap-lots of local. But of course have Sam Adams.

The Squealing Pig provides food, fun and the feel of being with family. Comfy and casual is the best way to describe this awesome Irish Pub.It is no wonder it has made many of Boston's best lists. Over 100 beers make an appearance on their menu, and a perfectly poured pint of Guiness is just one. Beyond beer, the Squealing Pig has one amazing menu, filled with pub grub that goes beyond basic,...
