This is a cozy, small town diner. I highly recommend the cinnamon french toast plate. Eggs were cooked to perfection. Large portions for a good price. With drink and large breakfast, expect to spend about $10/person. Friendly staff - the owner herself waited on our table and was very prompt. I would dine here again.

Spring Valley Family Restaurant was recommended by family members that we were visiting in Oregon, Ill, and BOY were they right !!!!!! For a very reasonably priced dinner, the amount of food was humongous, and delicious! The service was super, and enjoyed visiting with the German owners! I can not say enough good about this restaurant. I very highly recomend...

Fri 9/5? they offer all u can eat walleye fish fry. I ordered the fried cod. It was as substantial as all u can eat. Four inch thick very fresh tasting filets. Salad bar although small is sufficient with lettuce etc and always 1 or 2 good pasta salads. Dessert included usually choices of ice cream rice pudding, sometimes freshly...

JMJ Wanted to find a nice , friendly sit down restaurant to relax after visiting the Rock River and the Eternal Indian Statue. Looked a little quiet but after ordering , the rest of town started coming in. The wait staff was excellent! Friendly and helpful. The food wasn't fancy but very ample and the salad bar was a nice...
