This eatery has spared no expense in the design and style of the location on 1960 but the barbecue is okay at best and service is lacking. A high note, though, is the peach cobbler and rolls. Can't beat it if you want good BBQ. Ever meat is excellent. Rolls are homemade and perfect. Lots of food per plate. Never had a bad experience.

Went here during a one hour lunch from my class at beautiful new hotel next door. The service was quick, they slice your choices up in front of you. I recommend the ham or chopped sandwich. The briskets, sausage, ribs and potato salad are all good. We also love their fried okra. Sometimes when you are waiting for your to go order they'll offer you one of their fresh baked rolls; if they don't order a few, they're really good.

Family atmosphere, good food, but limited menu. The hot rolls melt in your mouth along with the tender ribs and beef brisket
