I typically only leave negative feedback, but this place was awesome. Historically this place, harbor one, the spot, ect, was a dive bar. Not the case. I ordered a $18 chicken breast! Worth every penny. From the siracha ranch wedge salad to the smoked Gouda Mac n cheese pork belly, this place was awesome. Unique and delicious menu. Had a great first experience at Flight yesterday evening. The atmosphere was perfect, a great local beer and wine selection, service was very welcoming, and the food was delicious! We started out with fried avocados(YUM), split a wedge salad, and then we had their chicken marsala and chicken and wild rice for our entrees. Everything was VERY good... there is even an upstairs bar/poker/cigar...
My wife and I tried Flight for the second time tonight. The hummus was good to start. We both had the catfish which IMO needed some flour in the breading but the catfish fillets were large and fried nicely. The tartar sauce was lacking in the flavor department and not very good at all. Hush puppies were decent but a little oily. The fried okra (whole) was appealing to the eye but lacked flavor....
After waiting 20 minutes at the "other" Eagle Mountain Lake restaurant with no greeting or service, we decided to try the newly renovated Flight. We have found our new spot! The staff was amazing and Jamie even was kind enough to take us on a tour of the new Cigar Room on the 2nd floor. We are hooked! The fried avacado is a must! Thank you to the friendly staff for making our Sunday.
