we needed a place to stay that was reasonably priced and close to the university as we were preparing to send our son off to school. We wanted to stay somewhere downtown so we could get to know the Spokane area and loved all the resturants and places to shop. We wanted a place that was quiet and away from the crowds. The hotel is a private health club which now allows the public to stay. It is done in the classic style. The room was a bit cramped and the bathroom need an upgrade. Still the rest of the hotel was nice and the staff very friendly. It also had an on site laundry room. The on site restaurant was reasonably priced and the food good.
