Spertus Cafe

in a 2 week period, the Spertus Cafe/Wolfgang Puck never responded to phone calls nor e-mails. altho a take-out/delivery menu is posted for the Spertus Cafe, not a single item was available. What was ordered was not delivered. Unfortunately Kosher food in downtown Chicago is scarce (actually non-existent for dinner) and we were desperate, staying in a downtown hotel.! Very unsatisfactory...

Nice view of the park, that's true. The rest of this quasi-cafe has nothing to offer. Food is pre-packaged, small portions, very limited selection. They were supposed to have soup when we were there, but didn't. Seating is spartan & uncomfortable. It would be nice to have a pleasant Kosher restaurant in the Loop but Spertus Cafe isn't, at least not yet. Perhaps they're still working out the...

The cafe provides for a peaceful retreat from the day's work. The food has a nice spin on the flavors.
