Had a great breakfast on a cycling tour. Terrific, friendly service in a comfortable local restaurant. Not much southern on the menu, but food was very good. No grits?

I like their Salmon cakes, & the Walleye is good. They offer a variety of homemade soups, & southern vegetables. Southern Style is what the name says.Great homemade food.My only complaint is the wine situation,wine is offered,but when ordered they don't have it.
The server says that it (Cabernet) isn't available,but coming in anyday.
My suggestion ,since Connersville is more beer than wine,is to let the diner bring their own wine a charge a corkage fee,that way everybody is happy.I've...

They usually have amazing specials. I love the crab cakes, smoked salmon cakes and the special sauces to go with them. I like that they are always trying new dishes. A great variation of sides also.

We went here for lunch one day after reading good reviews. They have a pretty good menu but are a bit pricey.
