It's a FAIR place to purchase bullion, but they advertise ""cut out the middle man and get more for your bullion when selling because we are a refinery."" It's NOT the place to SELL. I bought some Silver Maple oz. from them @ $4 over spot (which is fair), but when it comes time to sell back to them they won't even pay spot price. They pay $3-4 below for generic bullion and $1 below spot for premium coins. 90% silver currency is an even worse deal. So they make $ on both sides of transactions. If I pay $32 Ozt for Maples while spot is at $28, you made your money on me. I'd be a fool to sell...

Although I have never been in Georgia location, I have been at the Greenville, SC location. When inquiring about investments in gold, the women there had no information to offer, as well as a lack of personality. When considering thousands of dollars in investments, shouldn't the employees be just a little informed on the product? Anyone in the NC/SC area should consider a drive to Palmetto Precious Metals when thinking about commodities. They treated me well, great prices, and knowledgeable.

I have to say I am a pretty skeptical person when it comes to trusting all these jewery stores that are always advertising " WE BUY GOLD "! Yet, had been seeing Southern Bullions advertisments on TV, and the phone book and thought I would give them a try since I did have some old gold laying around that I never wear anymore and I did have some up coming dentist bills that my insurance didn't...
